This morning, I woke up early. First off, thanks to Kairnan and his family for their hospitality. Around 10:00, Colorado's friend Bill picked us up and brought up to Mo's Diner, which has won the best breakfast in Hartford six years running. It was one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had! The homefries were fresh and spicy and the western omlette had three different types of peppers in it. Wow, was I impressed.
After Bill left, Pat showed up in the afternoon and the four of us went to see the movie American Pie. Keep in mind that my girlfriend recommended this movie to me. I liked it, but I am still puzzled at to why she liked it, after all she was offended by Something About Mary, and this was much worse.
Well, moving right along, dinner was back at Adam Berkwitz's house along with his parents as well as Mama and Papa Colorado. DB and I were treated to our first Jimmy's Pizza, another local favorite. While the za was good, it certainly was no Mo's of pizza. After a few more hours and dessert, DB, Colorado, Kiarnan and I got going. I said my good-byes to everyone, and thanks again for the wonderful hospitality.
Now, I am very tired, as is probably evident from my lame journal entry, and ready for bed. I am anxious to hit the trail again tomorrow and start moving toward my goal once again. My blisters have hardened, my legs have rested and I am ready for the trail once again
