Another easy day today, but what the heck Michelle is flying in today! I hiked into Atkins with Drive-By, Froto, Steve and Sally. Also here at the Village Motel are Prince Albert, Cobra, No Worries and Wild Turkey.

The hike here was fairly uneventful. More rolling hills and cow pastures. We did go by the Setteler's Museum, part of which was an old schoolhouse right on the AT. The schoolhouse was very old and similar to the old Wayside schoolhouse in Sudbury near the grist mill.

Anyway, I hung out at the Village Motel for the remainder of the day with the other hikers who were all staying there for the night. I got my maildrop, loaded up on THREE BLIZZARDS at the Dairy Queen and watched the hockey game between Colorado and Dallas. Michelle showed up around 10:30...driving a convertible Ford Mustang! Talk about driving in style. We got to our hotel a few miles away around 11:00 - and that will conclude today's journal entry.
